To post jobs on or source talent from GoldPASS, you first need to create an account. Once you've registered, Career Services will review your account. This process should only take up to two business days, and we'll let you know when your account becomes active - or if we have any questions.

Go to goldpass.umn.edu, click on Employers.

First time logging in

First time logging in

On the home page click on New User, then on the Click Here to Register prompt.

Search for your organization by typing in only a few letters from your organization name. If your organization is already in GoldPASS, all you will need to do is create your individual recruiter contact account.

If you do not find your organization account, click on Can't Find Organization. You will need to set up your organization and complete all required fields with as much detail as you would put on your own website.

New contact accounts must complete all required fields, read and agree to the User Agreement, click Yes, then click Register.

Our policy is to review new accounts within 2 business days. During high recruiting times, review times may be longer.

You may update your profile, post new positions, edit existing position postings, copy & repost positions, view candidate applications, search for candidates*, request on-campus interviews, and register for career fairs/events.

*Find candidate feature is NOT available to third party recruiters (see User Agreement for more details).

Click on the Post Jobs/Internships tab, then Submit New Job. Fill in all required fields (with detail). Once completed, click Save.

Tips: Open the position up to a variety of majors, this will help ensure you get a larger pool of applicants. In the Work Authorizations considered for this position field, select all levels that apply.

Note: All opportunities are vetted by Career Services professionals, it may take up to 2 business days before your position is visible to candidates, and longer during high recruiting seasons.

Click on Post Jobs/Internships tab, select My Job List, click on the job you would like to edit, click Edit, update the information, and click Save.

Click on Post Jobs/Internships tab, select My Job List, click on the job you would like to copy, click Copy Job (located on the left side bar), edit and update the posting, click Save.

Click on the Post Jobs/Internships tab, select My Job List, click on the job you would like to view applicants for, click View Activity (located on the left side bar).

Click on Find Candidates tab, select Search, select criteria, click Search. This will produce a list of candidates who meet your search criteria.

You will work with a college specific Employer Relations staff for your On-Campus Interview (OCI). To set up your OCI, click on Interview On Campus tab, select Add New Interview Schedule, complete all required fields with details, click Save.

Important: When selecting a hosting office, you must choose an option other than Universal, as this option is for internal purposes only.

Interview space fills quickly, schedule your OCI, 6 weeks in advance to help ensure availability.

  • Click on the Career Fairs/Events tab
  • Select the drop down Register for Events
  • Click Search, this will produce a list of all active career events/fairs.
  • Select the event you are interested in registering for.  Once in the event description, click the Register Now box.
  • Finally, complete the registration form, click Save.

GoldPASS is reserved for professional opportunities that enhance the career development of our students and alumni, and align with the majors offered at the University of Minnesota.  Opportunites can be full-time entry-level,  full-time experienced, part-time, internships, volunteer, summer jobs, and more.

Opportunities can be posted for up to 60 days. After 60 days you can repost your opportunity for an additional 60 days, if needed.
